EARS ACOUSTIC SHOT OR SNIPER DETECTION SYSTEM

The shot location system consists of four small acoustic sensors and a small screen attached to the clothing of the soldier showing the distance and the direction of the shots. The small sensor, almost the size of a deck of cards, detects the supersonic sound waves generated by the shooting enemies and instantly alerts the soldiers about the location and the distance from hostile fire, it is currently used by U.S. troops on the battlefield in Afghanistan.

When detecting the shot emits an alert on the screen and a sound, giving the exact location or the sniper.

  • It is a system designed to allow fighters to protect themselves better from snipers and hidden shots
  • Location shooting system detects and identifies hostile shooting in a fraction of a second, and advises them audibly and of the distance
  • This system reports the range of position of the sniper, to the point that the fighter can hear it (eg. “Shot at 400 metres, 3 o’ clock”)
  • Allows the combatants when there is enemy fire to immediately go from the defensive to the offensive
  • It is easy to use, comes with a quick reference Pocket Guide and is water resistant
